Posted by Geist on Monday, April 11, 2011 8:37 PM

Was surfing Cyber-Hobby's website earlier and found this http://www.cyber-hobby.com/html/CH_Notice_20101115.htm

What do you guys make of this? I wonder what it could be?

That could well be it. Totally new and original.

Specifically the Mercedes model G4 -- that would qualify as iconic.

I remember a scratch built/model mod done in the 70's and the subject of an article in the now defunct "Military Modeler" magazine. Confused

Hmm, I wonder when that announcement was posted? I don't remember seeing it other times I've been on the CH website. If it is in fact older the Neubaufahrzeug makes sense. Hmm the Opel Blitz they released fits the bill too.

The Neubaufahrzeug isn't a new future release.

Sure would like to see that Mercedes G4.  I don't think its out in model kit form.

I'm pretty sure that a plastic kit exist of the G4 along with one or two resin kits in 1/35. Never seen one for sale though....

I did some searching arount the 'Net and did not find any current production models.  There was a kit review on Cybermodeler, but it was from about ten yars ago.

Couldn't hurt to hope.Hmm

I stored in my archive and in stock a "Mercedes G4" 1/35 scaled kit of French producer "JMP" (No. 35039), resin made one !

So "ICM" announced in their newest catalogue the Mercedes G4 (1939 production) with 3 passengers (No. 35531) for 2011 as stated at Nuremberg International Toy Fair.

What's about the "Versuchsflakwagen IVc" with mounted 88mm Flak 41 ???
