I'm having a hard time telling what the color scheme is from the pictures. I know how it feels to be an enthusiastic amateur though!

 

Any way you can take a few pictures against a white background?

It's not actually hooked up and was only (carelessly) placed for the picture.

Still..as I say first time on a tank and ain't built anything much since I was a kid.

I was quite happy with it for a first attempt.Tongue Tied

There's something wrong with your blade. A tank blade only goes up and down; it doesn't articulate outward as in your pose. I also think you've got the mounting hardware on upside down. My time on a blade tank was limited and a long time ago, but I believe the "Y" yokes connect to the bottom of the blade not the top.
