The prewar French units in N Africa got some light tanks H35/39s and R35s.  No Heavies were sent there.  After they switched to Vichy, these light units fought the Americans during the Torch landings.

Has anyone ever heard of, or has seen a Picture of the CHAR B.1 bis that was used in North Africa During WWII? I was just wondering if it was. Thank's.
