Thank you Bill and you are most welcome!

Mike... thanks old buddy... always nice to hear from you! You might not know this but, you're the 'kick in the pants' to keep me and my hobby going! I hope that you don't mind the German subject/time frame this time around but it is all part of 'the cause'.

Thanks guys, The base and groundwork are quite enjoyable and easy to do no matter what the scale and is always a part of my 'process'. What I do and use for materials is all explained on my site.

Braille scale it is and it is tough on these old eyes.

Rob... thanks... I'm happy with adding this as No. 48 to my collection. Still waiting on a new macro lens to go with a new camera/lights setup but in the meantime, I'm (still) not happy with my photography.

Bill... thanks... It's not a bad build. Dragon's instructions leave a little to be desired but they are 'doable'. Couple of minor scale and fit issues but a good build up all the same. Some references are listed at the bottom of this subject's page on my web site if needed.

Thanks all for the kind words. If you've got any mortars et al, feel free to pitch in.

Thanks,
Kevin Keefe

Nice work on the motar carrier in 1/72. Yes I have the same kit in the stash as a CH white-box that I will eventually get to...not sure when, but eventually. Wink

Amazing.  I can't achieve that with 1/35th scale. Big SmileWow

It looks great! Yes  Are you sure it is in 1:72 scale... not 1:35?  Liked the diomara base very much.

That's really cool Kevin. I never would have guessed braille scale. I love the base. Well done on the little guy.

Not an expert by any means and there are a few 'goofs' on this but I have updated to include the 48th mortar in my collection. Dragon's 1/72nd scale offering...

Read all about it here...

Special thanks to Redleg12 for pitching in on this month's update.

Thanks,
Kevin Keefe
