I'm sorry for the snafu on my first post. Anyway, as I was saying, the fit of this Skybow kit, now AFV Club is very good. Detail is excellent. I built this OOB . I just wired the spark plugs and that's about it. I painted it Tamiya enamel olive drab and brushed on Tamiya weathering powder.
Great build Constructor!! It looks even more sexy with it's top off. Exellent job on the engine-bay, very convincing result....

TD4438: the kit is now issued by AFV Club -- it is one of my favorite 1/35 softskins.
If I can make a suggestion, when I paint the red reflectors on 1/35 kits, I use Tamiya clear red instead of red paint. I find the red to be too intense.

It's also the second model kit of this vehicle. Peerless/Max (and later Testors/Italeri reissued in the 80s) did this kit about 40 years ago. Not bad kits, but not up to the standards of the newer Skybow (now AFV Club) kit.

Thanks for your comments Roy. I should really go for the clear red. Do you think silver underneath will be good? Also if you have noticed, I repainted the leather seat, khaki as you you suggested when you saw the first part of this built.
I think it depends on the look you're hoping for. Obviously, it was a reflector but I like it to be very subtle as I don't expect much light to be hitting it. Here's a pic of mine (done on a dusty WC-55)

It was the M6 37mm Gun Motor Carriage that I converted using the Skybow/AFV Club WC51/52 1.5 ton Dodge Weapon Carrier. I was featured in another modelling magazine (issue 52) that was published last year.
