Any idea where I can buy 1/25 scale tracks for my Academy Late Panther G? I want to replace the rubber band tracks included with this larger scale.Bang Head

Tamiya issued their Jagdpanther with individual track links. Rainbow 10 orders replacement Tamiya sprues. You should be able to order the tracks thru them. You'll need the Tamiya kit number and part number/sprue number. You can find that info here: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10127320

Rob

I sent them a request. They can't get the tracks so I have to continue looking.

Panzer Hobby Art does a resin set, but I figured the Tamiya spare parts would be cheaper. I've built the Academy Jagdpanther many years ago; it came with single link vinyl tracks that you snapped together.

Panzer Hobby set price depends on current exchange rate.

Thanks again. Wish there was a better selection for 1/25 scale.

At least there are options available. Not bad for uncommon kits that are over 30 years old. I bought and built that Academy Jagdpanther around 1988 when I found it in an out of the way hobby shop in downtown Mannheim, Germany. It was old store stock back then, and that was 23 yrs ago.

Today you can at least find some PE, barrels, tracks, etc.

I did a quick search on eBay, most of the ones designated RC or motorized (mine was battery powered and just went forward and backward like Tamiya kits of old) came with the vinyl snap together links. Today, I know my built JP is probably worth more for the indy track links than as a built kit.
