Lately, I have been wondering around on a kind of "modelers walkabout".
As such, I have been building outside of my normal realm.
So here, submitted for your inspection...

I wanna see it drag race the Lincoln!
Great job, just the right amout of weathering (IMAO). Figure is very well done, too.

"Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos nunc!"
Nice job, you must have one heck of a macro lens to get those shots.

Wow - that was a real beast wasn't it! (The actual machine, not your kit!) Great work on the textures of the weld marks and Mantlet.
On the bench: Airfix 1/72 Wildcat; Airfix 1/72 Vampire T11; Airfix 1/72 Fouga Magister
Very nice! I like the weathering and the textures as well. One question...what are the rods fastened to the top of the hull? Cleaning rods? Aiming stakes? Or something completely different....like tent poles.....?

Nice work on the behemoth. Always neat to see these big Russian brutes get built up...they never win any points for style but definitely got the job done.

Hercmech, Thanks! As for the camera, well, just a cheep Samsung Digimax D53 5 Negapixel.
Thanks VanceCrozier. Welds are stock Dragon kit. The texture is provided via Rust-Oleum American Accents Rust.
John, I think those are cleaning rods on the fighting compartment roof.
p38jl. Glad ya like it!
Thanks Tman!!! Glad I made it back here...
Thanks Bill, Actually that thing just fetched a Silver in Allied Armor at the Mad City Modellers contest last Saturday in Madison Wisconsin.

Hercmech Nice job, you must have one heck of a macro lens to get those shots.
He's got 2,560 x 1,920 megapixels.
WOOOOFF!
You should've gotten a first out of that IMO. All that paint scratchin' really paid off. I've seen it in person and the pics only show part of the great build and weathering. An excellent job well done!.
Pat.
I just drooled all over my keyboard!

Definately agree there!
You've done a cracking job on this one - VERY impressive. The weathering is perfect, the markings look just right and the figure is a great addition too. x 10! Loving it!
The picture below is my Tamiya JSU-152. It was my first build of 2011. I got the kit as a Christmas pressie and it was a true gem!
I built her toally OOB apart from a replacement RB Aluminium Turned barrel and random stowage. I painted the Berlin stripes on and went mad on a weathering rampage!
She's a personal favourite and HIGHLY recommended to anyone who hasn't built this kit! I'm not usually a big fan of Russian armour but this just had to be built! It's my only Russian build so I really should look at another one - I quite fancy something different like the Artillery Tractor (I'm not going to even try and spell it).
Lovely job buddy! Beautiful work!
