Marc I'm delighted that you got this one done so fast, I have a special interest as I have one myself. You can be proud putting this one on the shelf as its another beautiful piece.

Terry.

Marc, it looks great especially the plants! Yes  I have to give them a try one day.  I only have one feedback to make it even better.  It is missing a rocket launcher... Big Smile

Very nice work all around Marc, the seat in particular is a nice touch for the "wreck" character! Beer

Very nice Marc, good weathering and love those plants. How about a closeup of the seats? I'm curious how they came out from your description, but can't see it clearly in your photos.

For the seat and back rest I took the kit part and burnished lead foil over making a hollow shell that I stuffed with rusty springs and tissue then ripped it open and started pulling it out..

The palm trunk is a piece of paint brush handle wrapped with string and covered with tissue and white glue.

1st off let me say sorry for the late thank you to those that stopped in to have a look and make comments.  My modeling time has been sporadic at best lately.

But I did manage to git 'er done!  Inspired by rick Lawlor's little gem , my take on the scene.  Neat little kit.  Did I say little?  It's freakin' tiny.   For the seat and back rest I took the kit part and burnished lead foil over making a hollow shell that I stuffed with rusty springs and tissue then ripped it open and started pulling it out..  the rest is OOB and at a a couple of dozen parts, if you sat down and really built one it won't take long at all.  2/3 of the total time was on the base.  The plants are from http://www.kamizukuri.jp/.  Laser cut paper that are simply exquisite.  The palm trunk is a piece of paint brush handle wrapped with string and covered with tissue and white glue.

Questions, comments and critiques as always are welcome.
