RPM does do an FT-17 update to the "Emhar FT-17" kit, but I do not believe the Emhar version ever materialized and the update was basically the RPM's own FT-17 suspension sold separately.

EMHAR make a bunch of MK IV's, a Whippet, some Artillery, & a A7V& a Ft-17, tho' I have not seen or heard of an Emhar ft-17 & (allegedly) RPM do a correction kit for it.

Google build reviews, a decent kit can be made, but work is needed, good luck!

28mm is small, like 1/65th scale or thereabouts.

eBay is most likely the best place to try to find the WW1 kits.

Where is the best place to purchase world war one tanks?  Im looking for the British mark 4 tank and the French Ft-17.  I found some on a miniature website called old glory, but im not sure how 28mm miniature scale compares to other scales.
