Klik,Kevin and BaBill212, thank you for your replys.

I should have been more specific, I want to know the best way of painting the lense.

Quite awhile ago someone put up a very good post on "How to" but I cant find it.

I bet Karl knows, where are you?...cheers....Kenny

I've used black with a dash of Tamiya blue metallic. There are a number of translucent Tamiya paints out there too.

I always finish with a coat of gloss

Enjoy the ride!

As above however; I usually coat everything with a flat-coat and then gloss-over any 'glass' with krystal kleer or what ever gloss coat I have on hand at the time as the last step.

Thanks,
Kevin Keefe

Depends on the type and original plastic you use. For goggles, I have used gloss black, clear red, or clear green for the lenses.

What look are you going for?
