I scarificed my wife's dog to the styrene gods this morning. Oh, my wife isn't not going to like this... Damn it, hurry up with the Duster so I can build it for my father-in-law who is 72 years old now.

I liked everything in that link.
Will be interesting to see how stacks up and compares with the Italeri LVT-4. Looking forward to how AFV Club tackles the track.
Given that Italeri has taken care of nearly each first-generation AmTrac, it would have been more impressive to see a release of an LVT-1 or LVT-3. Neither of which are readily available in 1/35, with only the LVT-1 being molded in resin by Verlinden several years back — good luck finding one of those without spiritual intervention and a loan from the bank.

The page in the link has been updated with the box art. Looks pretty cool. Its gonna have some nice shilds for the .50s and not have the bow MG position if the box art is accurate...
Aggravatingly beautiful! I have only recently acquired all the after-market kits and parts to convert Italeri’s late-production LVT-4 into a mid-production version, and along comes AFV with an OOB option. Still though, that will not stop me from adding one of AFV’s renderings to my “to-do” stash.
Perhaps I can use my Italeri -4 as basis to create an early-production version, which AFV has erroneously mislabeled their offering. I scanned couple pages from my LVT-4 Technical Manual which used an early-production -4 to write and photograph when producing the TM to illustrate what an early-production -4 looks like.
Test shots of the LVT are out in some builders' hands already

Nice welcome addition.

I too was thrilled to see this! Given the box art is out I don't think it will be much longer. The Duster and M8 are announced (have been) but no box art. Once the box art is released then it's pretty much the real deal. As far as the tracks. I have always been impressed with the softness and detail of AFV's tracks so I honestly think they'll be fine. I have no desire to build the FM set... If they're at all smart they will release the track set separately for those who have the Italeri one lounging in the stash. Those who have built the Italeri one know that the tracks (like most all of theirs) could double as a fan belt in a pinch! :)
Can't wait to see it!!
