The kits are mid 1970s era molds.  The passable standard back then was much lower than the very well-researched and well-designed kits of today.  Even today, some big mistakes get incorporated into newly released kits.

I believe those seams need to be filled...all except the front one...

I'm building an Academy/Tamiya Panzer 1V and I need advice.

The two pic's show the underside of the main gun; are they correct
