Good job, even though it was before all the 'in style' techniques.

Like everything modeling seems to return full circle in cycles, look at the 'new' developments in 1/48 scale armor. Also how popular vintage kits have become. Some are worth 10x more (in current adjusted currency) that they were decades ago.

Most would agree their latest work is their best, myself included yet its nice to see some older work posted.

Can't critique your work as you have pointed out most already. A few details would have looked more to scale if removed & scratch built, yet you built OOB so who is to argue that?

THIS I LIKE! Only thing that caught my eye was the skinnyness and the tallness of the palm tree but maybe that really contributes to this being such a neat display. Wonderful job on this little bugger!

However; not sure if there'd be much point to filters, pre-shading, etc for a model so small. Just doesn't seem like to me that it would really stand out in this scale.

I have to admire you guys for being able to work on something that small, Helo and The Draken over on the Korean War GB have done most of the vehicles in that conflict in 1/72-76 if anyone would like to see more small scale models.

  It looks just fine to me and conveys the scene just as I would imagine it. Very interesting.

The port side track appears to be out of line when viewed from the rear, maybe it's just the viewing angle.

I've worked with these same little buggers though and I know what kind of a PITA they can be.

It could be out of skew a tad, , ,    but I do think the angle doesn't help either. There are a number of things amiss with the general makeup of the kit itself. But, it was still fun!

And you are right,,,  pita for sure.            I am fooling around with an old Nitto 76th Schwimmwagen at the moment... boy oh boy,,, this thing is tiny and SO full of flaws...     a test in patience.

2" is why they call this "braille scale" for sure! Neat little setting and base for this one Bill.

Very nice little Stuart,  but one historical correction. Makin was captured by the 27th Infantry Division with the attached 193rd Tank Battlaion, US Army, not the USMC. They were busy on nearby Tarawa at the same time. 4th Marine Tank Battalion would first see combat at Kwajalein in January/February 1944.

Excellent job on such a tiny little Stuart. Did you scratchbuild the stowage?

3"x4" base. And no longer than 2".

Looks nice and as we all know 72nd/76th scale is where you separate the skilled from the unskilled hehe.

35th scale is for those that want it easy (snicker).

Love it especially the diomara base!   Everything looks great except for the headlights... I would tone them down a bit.  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Panzer,,,  I thought about those lights too after I dug it out and took the pictures....  Not sure if I will correct though. These older builds always serve as a reminder of where I once was and where I am (and hopefully improving with each build,,,)
