How the Censored do you put these things together?

I can attach 'MA14' to 'MA19', but I can't get 'MA19' onto 'MA15' to save my life!! Suggestions?

Unless I am actually working on it, I cannot be exactly sure,,   but as I see it,      15 goes into the front holes of 19,,,, and 14 curls over the top into the back holes of 19.

I would guess some of the other folks have probably built this pup before and may be able to shed some more light than I have.

Wish you the best with it...........

Enjoy the ride!

Oh God, I hated that part!  While I was building my Dragon Marder II, it wanted me to make like 15-20 clamps like this.  I couldn't make one successfully after an hour... I never felt so frustrated. Angry  I was told there are better aftermarket PE parts that contains only two parts instead of three like this.

However, I found a trick that helped me a bit... I would glue the part #15 on the hull or turret first using CA.  After allowing it to try enough.  Go ahead and glue the tools on then you can glue part #14 on top of the tools.  Finally you can add that P-I-A part #19 easily to the clamps already secured on the hull or turret.

Hope this helps...

Usually the problem for me seems to be the allignment of the pins on 14 and 15 with the holes on 19. I can never bend them so that the spacing (between 14 and 15) is correct. So what I normally do is bend 14 and 15, then gently shave the pins off of 14 (the pins that would normally go into 19)... then I put tiny CA drops under the tabs on 15 (the tabs towards the right side of the picture), and join 14 and 15. Then I bend 19 (slightly wider then it needs to be so i can close it around 14 and 15), then I apply glue to the inner side of the ends of 19, and pinch it around 14 and 15. HTH!
