I'm not into RC either. As I said in J-Hulk's thread about the Leopard II, I'd like to see either a Stuart or better (V V S S) Sherman... but an M1 may get my money! (Used to crew one!)

I'd love to see more 1/16th scale Armor, especially modern armor.

I'd love to build 1/16 armour but more World War II not modern.

Neat topic, that would be one large brute. I imagine a bit pricey though.

That would surely work it's way onto my "Gotta have" list.

I do agree that, it would be nice to more of any armor in 1/16 scale. The more on the market...the lower the price. With there not being many out there to choose from, it keeps them sort of pricey Black Eye [B)]

PS....I forgot, would rather see static than RC. 1 was enough for me.

Well... I think 1/16 would be awesome. I don't see why they couldn't do both RC and Static inlight of there current 1/16's. The only bad thing is they'd really put a nice dent into my wallet! Smile [:)]

That would be great. Even a static model would be fine.

I would definitely buy a 1/16 Abrams or Challenger II without thinking twice about it. BAM, here's my money!
I'd also probably buy almost any Sherman variant, too. Except the one that is currently available. I just don't like the 105mm howitzer Shermie!

Other than that, personally, I'd love to have a 1/16 full option RC E-100!

(read this with an old codger voice)

I remember when Tamiya brought out 1/21 and 1/25 scale tanks... they were REALLY expensive...$18 and $15. Then Bandai brought out its very, very expensive $25 1/24 Panther and Tiger II with interiors and its Super Expensive 1/15 giants for $35. Man, all of those hit my wallet hard (back when I was getting an allowance!).

J-Hulk:

I don't like the current 1/16 scale Sherman either... something wrong with that thing. Is the turret too short? Is it that the hull hatches don't open? Is it because it says 'toy' more than 'scale model'?

Price tag! well without RC a price tag of $200 ( Trumpeter ) , $300 ( Tamiya) seams on target. for me. The difference in prices does not lay in my interpertation of Quality. But in China labour hour costs $2, in Japan labour hour costs $20. So it is normal to assume that for the same quality a Chinese product is less expensive than it's Japanese counterpart.

By the way, Trumpeter has again said they are releasing a 1/16 T-34. Well, two, actually, with full interiors, including engines. Both 76mm-gunned versions, and if I remember correctly, the 1940 and 1942 version.
Well, three actually, including the T-34/85 that is still supposedly coming out!
We'll see...
