Hmmm, building one of those funky little Italian tanks would be fun.... Big Smile

Some other Tanks that could be used and not thought of much was the Italian tanks.   Carro Armato L3/33 and 35, and the L6.  These vehicles were used in the southeren regions of France by the Italians in there part of the Blitz.  They were not very successful overall.

Bill,

I'm finding that I often finish before the GB's end but now am trying to enter the ones that I could possibly do more then one build that the stash would support.  Also will have to have the intrest in the subject at the time.

Terry,

This won't be my first GB...just my first one in a very very long time. I believe the last one I participated in was around 2005-6. Propeller The main reason I stopped participating in GBs was due to my rapid build pace, I would usually finish a build every 4-5 weeks or so and move on and the GB timeframes were too slow for that. Now that my build pace has shrunk considerably to the "normal" 3-4 months (or longer depending!) per build, the GB structure is just the thing to keep me interested and motivated so I figured it would be good to revisit it if the topic was right. Blitz in the West is perfect as it's been a while since I built an early-war vehicle and I now have several in the stash to choose from. Now I just have to settle on which one! Wink

Howdy Bill, are we going to have you along on this GB if it's blitz in the west. well for me I'm involved in two at the moment and starting a third in the next few weeks so even with a tight schedule I would be making a big effort to run with an early war GB.

Well I never asked how long this one would be running but I would presume about six months depending on how Eric wants to set it up.

Reading through the thread it would be great to work with people who I have done GB's with before and of course it would be a treat to work with you Bill again as it's a few years since we worked together, could be fun.

Now if Bill Plunk comes in as well then it would be great to see him participate in his Fi rst GB.

Well it's almost 3am so I'm off to the leaba (Irish f or bed)to do my usual of falling asleep watching family guy.

Allowing for the time difference if anybody wants to mail me the results I'm at

terry35@gmail.com

Well good night to all and I hope for good news in the morning.

I'm in only if it's the battle or blitz in the west. I have a beautiful Pz. IV B that I really need to put into the panzer grey and brown scheme, I really need to do this.

Regards,

Terry.
