Which one...
Posted by DoogsATX on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 3:42 PM

Pondering a new kit as a small celebration for landing a sweet new job. But...which one to choose?

Dragon Pz.IV Ausf.J Last Production - Imagine that, ANOTHER Dragon Panzer IV! But I'm digging the chain link fencing it's dragging around.

Tasca M4A3E2 Jumbo - I dig Shermans, and love the bulldog look of the Jumbo's uparmored glacis and turret:

On the Bench: 1/32 Trumpeter P-47 | 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G | 1/144 Eduard MiG-21MF x2

On Deck:  1/350 HMS Dreadnought

The Chaffee in the Pz IV background. I think Dragon or another company announced a new release, It will be coming.

That being OT, I will go with the Pz IV and the Thoma shields.

Thanks Aaron. That should be worth the wait. You can bet that Dragon will "suddenly" announce one themselves. They always seem to.

For better chance of surviving the battle between those two, my vote goes to Panzer IV... but I hate to say that Manny may be right, get both!

Well, in a head to head matchup of the real vehicles, the Jumbo would own a MkIV, so if I had to choose I'd go that way.  However, the chain link does look pretty cool, so you definitely made the right choice getting both.  Smile

I'm a little late to the thread but.... since you decided on both i have to assume you got a raise with the new job along with more time off to build models. Sounds like a great combo to me!
