Very good question Clay. Based on the model I built some time back, the loading tray is operated on a hand-cranked geared-drive, so my guess is that it would be removed during transport but is just based on logic and not actual knowledge. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Big Gun HELP
Posted by vonryan on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 11:28 AM

hey all i need some help on a big build. I've been working on the "Morser Karl-Gerat (Initial Version) on railway transport carrier". made by trumpeter. anyway it's almost done but i have no idea where the loading tray go's in travel mode. doesn't look like it's left on the gun at least in all the pics I've seen. was it put somewhere else on the train or is it some place on the carrier its self? and I've looked all over the web and ZIP? or do you leave it off? any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED thanks for looking.
