Da Vinci Regiment

Following our earlier trailblazer, I also decided to create Academy's Da Vinci armored car (tank).

This vehicle would be a hypothetical example used in defense of the city state of Florence during the Battle of Gavinana in 1530.

The idea was to use early Italian camoflauge over a salt treatment of bronze plate.  I cut open one plate to show it at rest, with Florence piping on the tenting.  There is also a city of Florence decal on the opposite side.

Very cool! As you can tell from my avatar, I have a soft spot for DaVinci's designs myself. Smile

Wow, that is so cool! I wish I'd thought of it.

Love the weathering and the tenting. Only thing I'd do different is maybe add a figure for scale if you can find one of the right scale and uniform. A horse might work too.
