Yup, its been available a couple weeks now from Far East distributors.  Mine just got here yesterday.  It is a great little kit and very timely.  Here is a full build review of it at PMMS.

Injection molded 1/35th scale Meng Toyota Hilux

............I was looking at some future kit releases on line and noticed a announcement for a 1/35th scale Toyota four door crew cab pickup from Meng; a company I've never heard of. Unlike the Mig Product's take on the same subject it is injection molded plastic, not resin, making it easier to build.  Also it costs about a third as much; between $29.99 and $33.00 depending on the site..............From the images of the parts it seems to have a highly detailed chassis. Needless to say it is a curb side kit although it has a separate hood. The interior of the five passenger cab is highly detailed. The only downside is the side doors can't be posed opened and there is no column detail on the one piece clear side window, windshield, headliner unit. A little A&B epoxy can solve that problem.   While the kit doesn't have any Toyota  markings there is a set  letters, on the decal sheet, to spell out the company name on the rear tailgate...............The kit comes with ZPU-1 Russian anti-aircraft gun to place on the pickup bed of the military version along with a hooded and masked gunner figure. It can also be built as a civilian version and used as a background vehicle in a diorama.
