Hobby Craft Humvee
Posted by Jammer on Thursday, January 29, 2004 9:23 PM
From what I've read, the M2A2 is not worth the money and I'll probably try to get the Tamiya off Ebay, but I was wondering about the Humvee Liberator...is it any good or does it rank with the M2?

Thanks!

Most likely it is a knockoff of another kit, probably the Esci or Italeri kits. My recommendation is to buy one of the 2 new Tamiya kits. They may be missing the pedals, but the detail is very good. HTH.

I bought a coupe of the hobby Craft Hummers. Not as good as the Tamiya or the Italer but it still buiulds a decent hummmer. The Tamiya has more extras and details. The HC has optional .50 cal or m-60 and you get some jerry cans, ammo boxes, oil drums, and you have the option to motorize it. I motorized one for my dad for Christmas just for kicks. Got my last two liberators on clearance for about $7.00 so it was worth it. Hobby Lobby has a 1/2 off coupon on plastic kits on there website this week. I used to get the HC Bradley. I'll start another thread on that!lol What have you heard about the HC M2A2 Bradley? Mines in the car I'm about to bring it in the office and compare it to the Tamiya one I built. I'll post my opinion [for what it's worth] in a few.

There's a post in here on the HC M2A2 that I just commented on earlier. Must be the day to talk about Hobby Crafts kits....
