Russian Tank Slogans
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, January 29, 2004 9:37 PM
Hey guys, I just saw some pretty cool decals of Russian tank slogans for WW2 ruskie tanks, and I was thinkin of rebuilding the old tamiya t34 and pasting those slogans all over it, making kinda a propoganda mobile. Ive seen slogans on their tanks but not covered in em. Would this be realy stupid or would it be pretty histroicaly accurate? Any help is welcome, thanks in advance

It might not be historically accurate, but after all it is your kit and the only opinion that really matters is yours. I haven't seen pictures of Soviet tanks covered in slogans, but who is to say you are wrong? I say go ahead and do it. Be sure to post pictures of the finished tank. Big Smile [:D]

The most I've ever seen on a Russian tank is two slogans. One kinda long on the turret, the other a short one on the side of the hull. I wish I had pics but I saw it in a book I was thumbing through. I'd love to have translations too!

I've seen a T-34 completely covered with the signatures of the workers from the factory where it was built!
