Actually this release of the 76(W) (that I have) has the 2 pair of DS tracks.

The 2nd set of tracks is a bonus and not listed in the instruction sheet but meantioned on the back of the box.

I would approach AFV Club single length tracks very cautiously. In my experience they tend to dry out and break once painted and put on your model. A real shame because they are well detailed...

Do you mean multi-part as in...here's two-length rubber bands (a la Tasca)? Or multi-part as in Dragon's awesome approach to VVSS indy links?

Got some of the latter with my orange box Firefly Vc. Individual track pads, individual connectors. HELL NO.

The AFV Club tracks are decent. If you're replacing the Dragon indy-style tracks, you can also pick up VVSS friuls for not much at all. A bit more work than going rubber band, though.

On the Bench: 1/32 Trumpeter P-47 | 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G | 1/144 Eduard MiG-21MF x2

On Deck:  1/350 HMS Dreadnought

Are you building the orginal release of the M4A3 76(W)? Because I do believe the new release came with not 1 but 2 sets of M4 DS tracks and I have the new release so I know.

Scott MacPhee

I'm building Dragon's M4A3 (76)W Sherman kit, and the multi-part tracks just are not working for me.  I remember that a few years ago Dragon sold their one piece tracks as accessories, but I can't find them at any of the usual online stores.

Does anyone have a hot lead on where they might be found?  Had I realized they had such a limited production run, I would have picked up a few dozen sets.

AFV Club sells sets of one piece vinyl Sherman tracks. I searched Squadron.com and found a couple different sets. I do not know which ones would be appropriate for your tank, but they are $10 a pair.

OK, thanks.  I'll give Dragon USA a try.

It's amazing to me that Dragon isn't producing these tracks anymore.  I assume they would be good sellers.

Yeah, I saw those, but they're all out of stock or back ordered, and have been for quite a while.

Yup... I ordered some sets from a couple LHSs when they first came out and neither shop ever got them in. Angry

They are tough to find.  I found a set at the Hobbytown in Las Vegas.  There are a couple of sets of T41 solid rubber block tracks on Ebay.  There are several Sherman kits that come with DS tracks too.
