Free French

One the Free French started receiving US Lend Lease equipment they did receive Jeeps among that stuff. But whether or not they were Bantam or Willy's you will have to do some image searches.

Well I have tried to find out with image search on the net but it have been rather scarce. And the common result is that it's primary sent as Lend Lease to GB and Russia.

The thing is that I have one Bantam almost ready, just waiting to get the markings. Would be an different approach to set it in some more forgotten scenario of WW2. I have also found some figs from old Heller depicting Sudanese infantry. Haven't seen how well done they are but an interesting subject if they are ok.

The Heller figures are older and typical of that era. I suppose with some replacement heads they can be made pretty decent. I looked up teh figures on the Bantams and their production run was comparitivly small.

Yes the Bantam BRC-40 production was not that large. So the possibiliy for some of them ended up in French Westafrica is maybe not so realistic.

But about the Heller figs, I will have them delivered in a couple of weeks. They are not the most common subject.
