Striping paint off of rubber

Does any one know how to strip off Testors Enamel from rubber tank treads? I heard that turpentine will hurt the rubber.

Thanks

Try soaking them in Super Clean degreaser or Easy-Off oven cleaner.

I would first try a small area to make sure it is safe as a just in case.

It works great on styrene but those tracks are probably a vinyl which is also a plastic, although I am not sure how cleaners with Lye in them affects it.

Simple Green.  Safe for rubber and vinyl (used it to strip a set of tracks myself not too long ago).
