Roy, thanks for that info on the barrels.

I can't find any MG 13's in 32nd scale either. I don't think there are any early *** kits around at the moment, so i guess no call for the gun's.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

So far as I'm aware, there isn't a complete MG13 available as an AM piece in 1/35 scale. You might however be able to scrounge something over on the Aircraft side of the house in 1/32 scale as the MG13 was also used as the rear armament on the Stuka. Wink

I ran into same issue when I worked on my Panzer I Ausf A a year ago.  I went ahead and used MG34 because I thought I found a picture of Pz I carrying those.  But I was wrong... Bill explained it was MG13 with longer flash suppressors.  Check my thread at:

/forums/t/131327.aspx?PageIndex=9

If I had to do it again I would have used MG34 barrels only with those extruding barrels to see if that works.

Bish,  Roy,            Thanks kindly to  you both....     Bish,,   they only provide the extruding barrel.       Roy, I am looking for the entire piece.   In my surfing I did see the barrels from Adlers (I believe).          My hopes were to find a complete MG.          I wanted to do an open hatch on the pz I....   I will try to find one in my armament stash...    clean it up a bit and go from there

Again, I appreciate your replies

Both Adlers Nest and Tank Models (of Russia) produce MG 13 barrels.

I seem to recall this coming up last year or the year before. As far as i am aware, there are none. Is the one in the kit not very good then.

Quick Question for the Armor Group....
Posted by BaBill212 on Thursday, October 13, 2011 4:52 PM

Hi guys....   I've been sniffing around looking for a nice aftermarket 35th scale MG 13 (searching with little success).

I am thinking of adding one to my  Pz I  Command Tank                   Considering this is the only armament I was hoping to plug in something nicer than the kit offering.

Any help is appreciated.........

Thanks

Bill
