Yup.....I agree. Saw that while doing some online window browsing last night and made a mental note.

This leads me to believe that it's an Italeri re-pop, due to the price and it being in an Orange-box. They've never done one ground up yet.

I don’t think the Cyber-Hobby offering will be able to hold it's own with the recent arrival of AFV Club’s LVT-4.  There is only about a $10 difference at Great Models between the two but, what AFV packages in the box is well worth more than $10 in comparison to the Italeri re-pop offering — unless there are some major fit issues.  AFV is offering a full interior, a more WWII appropriate cab, options of side armor, options of gun shields and most certainly superior tracks.  My pre-order has shipped and should arrive soon, at which point my Italeri boxing may slide from stash to pasture.  Or it may get hacked apart to provide the necessary parts to do an LVT-A4 to LVT-A5 conversion.

You're right, word on the street is that it is the Italeri kit and they are trying to capitalize on AFV Club's soon-to-be released kit by stealing some of their thunder.

I saw one opened up last week, it is the Italeri kit, with the older DML figure set added to it.

Not that the Italeri LVTs are bad at all. I built the -4 when it first came out and the -1(A) a few years back. Both look real good OOB. And the figure set is decent as well. Now if they droppped the MSRP another $5-$10 I can see them really stealing some thunder from AFV.
