Funny you mention that, Bronto. Al - brought my Squadron Walk Around to work with me (thought it was an "In Action" book), definitely has 4 or 5 shots of what you're after. Let me see if I can get the scanner working.

You found a Verlinden V-100 at Granitecon??? Tell me there's something you'd like to trade for it! Big Smile

Squadron's V-100 Walk Around (#5708) has the photos you are needing.

Marc,

I have  this image from Squadron's Armor in Vietnam. Using that, added a .50 to the turret and recently figured out what to use for the M60 mounts. At Granitecon, I picked up a Verlinden V-100 that had a dry transfer of the name THE UNEXPECTED for the front, probably negating my need to use the Echelon sheet I bought earlier.

I used the Eduard PE for fine detailing and these two internal photos .From these,I already scratchbuilt the turret cage and collected radio equipment and other stuff from the spares box and got some Plastruct for the ceiling braces and to even out the interior surfaces.

What I don't have is an image internals of the area inside teh door closest to the camera in this picture .These three pics are from WarWheels.net

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Al - what are you using for references? I can dig through the Squadron "In Action" book for the V-100 if you aren't already using that.

V-100/M706 Question
Posted by ajlafleche on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 8:34 PM

Does anyone have a picture of the rearmost seating area in the M706? It's possibly a radio operator's station and is situated next to the engine compartment.  I would like to know what the seat. if any, looks like and in what direction it faces. I'm detailing Hobby Boss's Vietnam version to look like 'THE UNEXPECTED" in Sqaudron's Armor in Vietnam.

Thanks for any help on this matter.
