Camp Forrest...now known as Arnold Engineering and Development Center or as the locals call it... A-row.

I wish I had some stuff to help as I grew up by there but I am more of an aircraft guy

Tennessee Maneuvers Vehicles Needed
Posted by TENNMANEUVERS on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 1:45 PM

I am the author of a new book on the World War II-era U.S. Army maneuvers in Tennessee -- and I am helping create a permanent maneuvers exhibit for the new Tenn. National Guard Armory in Tullahoma (on the site of Camp Forrest).  We want to creat a large diorama showing military vehicles in use during those maneuvers (from 1941 to 1944).  If you would like to contribute a completed 1/32 or 1/35 scale model (jeeps, tanks, trucks, artillery pieces) to this exhibit, please let me know.  Every type of tank and vehicle the U.S. Army had in its inventory at that time was used in maneuvers, which involved 25 full divisions (some 850,000+ soldiers) across 22 counties of middle Tennessee, in very realistic simulated combat.
