Fun weekend Build!!
Posted by Abastyr on Saturday, January 31, 2004 9:29 AM
I just had 2 Days off in a row (a rare occurance). I decided to build Dragon's E-100 German Super Heavy Tank. It's one of Germans many "Test" tanks..it weighed in a 100 Tons, but never saw Service before the Allies took Berlin. Anyways, it's a rather large build. It was fairly easy to put together in a Day, with painting the 2nd Day. Just thought I'd post it, if anybody is looking for a fun model to build in a couple days. I'll post pics when I'm done weathering.. The only Stressful part of the model was the Seperate Tracks..They look better, but cause Suicide Attempts....

That's what I need a model I can build in a weekend. Right now I'm building the model that takes forever! Oh... the good old days when you threw a kit together and played with it the same day. Sigh.

2 days? It took me 5 months!!!
Granted, it is an easy build OOTB, aside from cleaning up all those ejector pin marks on the link-n-length trax. I spent most of my time trying to decide HOW to finish it ('46 version) and gathering all the pieces needed to make it so.

Looking forward to the pix, Abastyr!
