Seen at ScaleModelWorld ,Telford , UK last weekend , on the AIRFIX stand , models assembled from test shots in 1/48th scale of a Snatch LandRover ,which I was expecting , and a Coyote, which I wasn't . For the uninitiated ,the snatch is a lightly uparmoured hardtop LandRover . Coyote is a new vehicle, like something out of "Mad Max" , 6 wheeled , very mobile, armoured , mountings for GPMG ,and 50 calibre , with a load bed for supplies. 1/35 is my normal scale , but the only Coyote is by Accurate Armour , very nice,but about £90 , so I may well go for the Airfix version , smaller ,but much less money . These are intended to go with Airfix's 1/48 Merlin .Very big,very impressive.
