and they honored it. Gotta love Squadron. It came in 2 huge boxes. I got a ton of these rather large kits that normally I would never buy. Now I'm set for months.

Did anyone else take advantage of that 50% off sale?

Yep. Ton of masks, decals, a few PE sets, Eduard Fw 190A-5 Profi-pack, resin pit for Hasegawa's big Jug, and Tamiya's big P-51. Got all but the last two, and the Stang arrives today.

On the Bench: 1/32 Trumpeter P-47 | 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G | 1/144 Eduard MiG-21MF x2

On Deck:  1/350 HMS Dreadnought

And I thought that I dug deep into that sale....whew!

Like DoogsATX, I scored big on acrylic paints, resin, decals and PE for various kits in the stash and cleaned up with a 1/32 Tamiya F-15C with the Big ED set.  It really was a great sale.

Well there is going to have to be a new award for a purchase such as this. $1400 on models? Wow, that's probably more then the retail value of my entire stash.

Well, I'm sort of in a unique spot. I came to NYC for work and didn't bring anything with me, so I have to start from scratch.

I have spent about $4000 over the past few months and have only finished 1 kit so far, lol. I'm just such a tool nut. I want to buy every weird tool that I can find just in case I need it.

What does $1,400 buy, other than one   $1,050.00

1/35 German Railway artillery model with seamless aluminum barrel and cast aluminum breech ?

I'd sure like to see that instant stash.

What are chances of posting photos?

Hitting a deep discounted sale vrs. spending piece meal all year is actually saving money!

The shipping in two parcels vrs. many smaller orders adds to the deal.

Besides tis' the season, looks like a happy new year!

I went nuts & bought 2 1/72 Flankers and a Hughes MD500 (tiny little helo, just needed its rocket pods) from Italeri for $24 total, and still had money for a large coffee on the way home. I don't think "Black Friday" is as big & black up here lol...

I'm shocked that the small items. ie;

cotton swabs, masking tape, long sanding stick,

razor saw, brush set ,  pipettes, sanding stick packet,

modeling ruler, scissors, etc.; etc...etc.; etc......

could contribute so much to a $1,400 bill.

According to the bill, you appear to have purchased relatively few kits.
