I am assuming he means the Battle of the Bulge. Unless he knows something about the Battle of Britain the rest of us don't.
I would imagine the winter campaign of 44/45 would be the only time WW2 British armour would be painted white. I can't say i have seen pics, but it would make sense.

Isn't the guy on the right wearing a US helmit. But i don't see why the Brits wouldn't do the same, white washing a tank can't take that long.
I recall seeing a photo of a British armored car ( possibly white washed ) linking up with Americans during the Battle of the Bulge, but haven't been able to locate an online post of the photo.
