That's really strange. Is there something about a Pz I in the AB thread? I too have had some problems using the search engine.

Try searching "Panzer AND 1V" (remove the quotes, keep the AND)

The forum search has always been tricky at this website not because of its functionality, but because of vague topic titles and valuable discussions being lost in the massive threads that reside within group builds. Discussion you thought might have been in the armor forum might have taken place in group builds, increasing the need to search beyond this forum.

I wish there was a way to "tag" a topic within the armor forum as "modern", "WW2", "early" or "general" or something along those lines. It might make searching for a particular post easier.

Are you doing a Forum Community Search? If so, the default is to look within your own posts unless you change/broaden it. The text also needs to be precise...for example Pz IV (not Panzer 1V), yields the following:

/search/SearchResults.aspx?q=Pz+IV+AND+sectionid%3a3&o=Relevance

Bill nailed it. You're using the wrong search box.

There is a search function at the top of the right side panel captioned SEARCH FineScale.com - don't use this one.

If you scroll down the page, you will see Search our Community Use this one. Smile
