                        OK, the title is misleading...:
                        Here is a small Vignette my daughter put together, not sure about the accuracy of the ambush scheme.
                        Anyway, it is 100% scratch built and I promise you, the weld beads on that Ginger Bread are tuff as armour:

                        Been adding to it for years, I guess I just like anything in miniature! Actually, I did make the fort on the far right a few years ago. No whitewash, just clay.
