I think the AFV Club T-49 set is designed for an M4A4 which is longer than the standard Sherman chassis. Of course if the Tamiya M36 is over scale it may not matter.

Any of the standard available Sherman tracks should do, but beware that the old Jackson kit was reportedly slightly overscaled, so make sure you don't lock down the position of the sprocket until you are sure it fits. You should be able to position it forward or rearward to adjust the slack/tension.

I have an old Tamiya M36 Jackson tank destroyer kit minus the tracks.  Does anybody know if either  AFV's  T48 or T49 track sets will work with this kit, and if so which would be appropriate?  Or is there another option? thanks
