Free model kits, come pick them up
Posted by CarnivourousDonut on Thursday, January 5, 2012 12:06 PM

Richmond, VA

I have no time for this hobby anymore, and I have a few kits that I've never started, come get them.

I haven't logged into this site in *eons* so I'm not certain what e.mail address any e.mails will go to but send me an IM and I'll respond with phone num, bers and address to get the stuff.

Mostly tanks, armoured vehicles, some misc stuff (not a ton of kits, but some. Tamiya Stug 3, Jadgpanzer, off the top of my head anyway)

Ok, I've updated my profile, drop me an e.mail from there. I'm not shipping anything, you gotta come pick this stuff up.

Thx.

Sorry to hear you've been forced to abandon the hobby due to time constraints. Hopefully you'll get some takers to help liquidate the remaining stash. Beer

Wished I lived a little closer.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I carried a stash around for years before I got back into the hobby. Now I am glad I kept the ones I had. Saying that...wish I lived closer.

About a three-four hour drive for me, if you really don't want them I might find someone in our IPMS club (Roanoke, Virginia) that might be willing to take them off your hands.

You might also check with the local VA hospital or IPMS if they could pick them up for the troops.

Thank you for the kind words. To be perfectly frank, I've never been a good modeler, and it's well past time I let it go and concentrate on the hobbies I am good at. I've contacted someone from the local chapter of IMPS in town, we'll see if he/she responds

Well, I've never been a good modeler but I build 'em anyway. Wink

If IPMS Richmond doesn't want them I'm sure they can get you in touch with IPMS Lynchburg or IPMS Virginia Beach. I know several guys from those clubs who would be happy to take them off your hands.

When the IPMS gets back to you ask about their hobbies for heroes program too.  Gets the kits out to the troops.
