Tamiya 1/48 British Crusader tank instructions missing...
Posted by Ninetalis on Sunday, January 8, 2012 4:44 PM

Hey everybody,

I'm mostly an aircraft builder but I like tanks a little bit as well,
so i did a little trip with my girlfriend and her family to London.
There so, we did the necesary shopping, so, first we went to the London RAF Museum.
This museum is AWESOME! I don't think, without a doubt,
that this is the biggest aircraft museum in all of Europe.
Hundreds of planes, of all era's, beautifully displayed in large hangars.
So after visiting the museum I went to a store called Hannants (some of you might know it, since you can order stuff online for a reasonable price, very reasonable when you are an US citizen)

But this store was a really HUGE dissapointment, I had placed an order about 2 weeks earlier,
and when I arrived they didn't know anything about it, after about an hour they found my order, and some things were missing...
Also I had seen pictures of racks full of boxes, but in reality, these were rather empty, and you hadn't a lot of choice...

But here is what I was able to recover from my order (including one I found in the racks that was there at pure luck)

I had also ordered the nothdrop flying wing, a longnose skyrocket (prototype) and about 6 others.
The UHU and ME 509 were 2 I took out of the store.
There is also a decal sheet for that P-61 black widow,
but I had put that into the box for protection and so I wouldn't lose it...
The teddybear was for my girlfriendYes

2 days later, we went to Hamley, a really HUGE toy store, I think I've never seen anything like it...
I saw that they also had some models scale products upstair, so I went to take a look.
But once there, it was a big disapointment, they only had some Airfix kits and 1/72 Revell planes,
So I went on to take a look around the floor at other stuff, until I saw the New 1/32 Tamiya P-51 behind a counter,
There i had found this, a 1/48 Crusader MK. I/II Britsh cruiser tank mk. IV
I asked about the price, and it was a small and painless 10 pounds... so I bought it straight away. (there was a price tag behind it of 20 pounds, so I saved 50%).

But when I arrived at the hotel and opened the box, I felt that something was missing...
And I was right, even though there was 1 decal sheet to many, the instruction manual wasn't in there,

So now, does anybody know where I can find these?

Regards Ninetalis.

You can find the instruction here... http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10065202

Simply save the JPGs and print off to make a new (but basic) set of instructions.
