Question on Emhar Whippet Decals - Any Problems I Should Expect?
Posted by bufflehead on Sunday, January 15, 2012 11:29 PM

Has anyone used decals in any of Emhar's kits?  I'm building a 1:35 Emhar MkA Whippet tank for wing_nut's Great War GB and was wondering if the kit decals have any problems.  Prone to silvering, overly thick, very fragile, etc.  I'm going to test a couple tomorrow to see how they work over a Future prepared scrap part, just wanted to see if I could get a heads up on them.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post!  Big Smile

As I recall from my own Emhar Whippet, you'll likely find the decals to be very thick, somewhat brittle and not wanting to adhere to much.  Future might help the adhesion issues, but not the thickness and rough texture.

They're not totally useless, but they are finicky.
