I usually leave off the road wheels, tracks and tools, then primer and paint. Then add everything and weather together. Then add the headlight lens and antennas last.

It depends on the builder.  I personally put together major sub-assemblies (i.e. turret, lower hull, upper hull and small details).

Painting Question
Posted by Piper010 on Monday, January 23, 2012 2:03 PM

Hi;

I've been building models off and on for many years......mostly cars, but have been wanting to get into tanks and other military models. My question has to do with painting. When building cars, I paint the parts then assemble, but it seems tanks, etc are put together first, then painted. Is this correct?
