Hi Hercmeck, unfortunately i can't really get into the specifics because I am writing an article based around this build for another magazine. However, I can say that the only pigment work was on the lower hull where the thick mud is and it was simply piled on dry, drizzled with paint thinner and left to set. The mud on the upper sides is done totally with oil paints, no pigments what so ever.

Looking fantastic.  I would love a break down of how you are doing this...what pigments are you using? What method are you using to apply them e.g. wet, dry, with fixer etc.

More progress on the 60P, more mud and started shading the tarp.

Thank you guys... The mud actually dried up (finally) so i'll have to go back and paint in the wet areas. Not a big deal, actually would rather do that.. Started painting on the front side of the tires last night. Lotsa stuff to do...

Looking good Kenneth...you've captured the Russian Green look very well with some nice subtle variations to it. Mud spatter on the lower hull is also a nice touch.

Yeah, me too!  Hopefully the BMP-3 and the Bradley will be done by then!

EDIT:  I was just on IPMS/NCT's site and it looks like they've still got last year's information up.  :(  I'll shoot Ed an email and see if he knows anything.
