Question about Tamiya King Tiger Kit 35169
Posted by Konigwolf13 on Thursday, February 2, 2012 11:31 PM

I started this kit before I moved and seem to of misplaced the supplied mesh. Having finally unpacked all my model stuff I think I may of found it, its a small sheet of very fine fly wire type stuff about 6cm x 7cm That I have to trim myself. Does this sound right?

Thanks in advance

Oddly enough, I am just finishing this kit.  I cut the mesh this afternoon. What you describe certainly sounds like the mesh you need.  It also came with a little sheet of double sided tape to attach the screen to the plastic part.  You need to cut it into short strips.  I used CA instead.  That worked out fine.

Doug, from snowy Colorado tonight.

Thanks for the quick reply. I seem to of misplaced the tape as well (along with the rubber caps for the drive and idler wheels, rubber bands are your friends). CA certainly sounds better than tape for screens.

Thanks again
