Confused

IT should have been just edited if there was a problem... instead of pulling the whole thread.. Sad

Guys,

The thread got bumped down the Armor list when some off-topic material was removed, not deleted. I bumped it back up.

Cheers, Aaron

Great call Aaron...that thread had one of the best pictures about light and color that I had ever seen and really made me feel better about not having to worry too much about the "Right" shade of OD or any other color!

Unfortunate that a thread displaying a built model even HAD to be edited. How can people not just comment/critique and move on? This is a modeling forum.

Lengthy threads have long been a characteristic of this website's forums. Start a group build thread and it will stretch into 5-6 pages before anyone puts glue to plastic. They get so bad organizers start new GB threads to post photos of the finished entries.

I enjoy WIP thread; it's neat to see a single person's kit go from beginning to end and see where the builder made some decisions points along the way. Those threads stretch quite a ways, but at least there is often a beginning and an end.

I try not to comment on those unless I have a specific question for the builder or if the build totally takes my breath away and is awesome. I figure the builder knows he's doing a good job so he doesn't need me to respond along with the 80 other members saying the same thing. I'd offer constructive criticism if needed, but that is often frowned upon by the general collectiveness of the forum.

Bottom line, less is often more when trying to follow these threads.

I agree...I try to keep my responses to one word or less...

when threads get out of control I like to:

Fly to Thailand and hang out on the beach for awhile....find a nice girl, see the sights...
