I take it all back. I think you should let him build a few so he can learn to appreciate what a real model is.

I only say because my own son went with me to my model club meeting and won the raffle and he won a B-17 (that's a big 4 engine bomber thingy) and .....and he wants to build it. I tried at first to convince him to sell it on Ebay and with a couple extra buck he could buy a nice Sherman, that didn't work.
So I finally accepted the fact that he's exploring his .....modeling preferences and that he may become a wingheadDisapprove [V] On the bright side he wants to build modelsSmile [:)]

It is I think an unpainted Leopard 2 A5 with the side armor extended outwards.

It's not silver but bare metal.

Not wings but side armors.

He-he-he. Sometimes I still wonder why I post my A/C model pics on my website. Ooops. LOL.

You can look son, but don't get too close, you don't know where they've been.

My problem is that I agree entirely with what Willy told Joe as they watched a Sherman drive by - "Nope, I'd druther dig, a moving foxhole attracts the eye"

When i saw this topic [that is before i read the post] the thought came to me of my 4yr old daughter attempting to "examine" a work in progress on my work bench!LOL

"What's that daddy?" *with finger outstretched about to make contact*

We treadheads like to raise above the simple pleasure recieved from silvery thingies and accurately depict the vehicles worthy of becoming models.
