1/35 Libyan Rocket pickup
Posted by KFS-miniatures on Thursday, March 8, 2012 6:23 PM

Hello

Since I've scratched correct 1/35 scale UB-32-57 rocket launcher for my resin URAL 4320 "Broom" rocket guntruck upgrade set, I receifed a few requests about this launcher for Libyan pickups. so.. vox populi- vox dei. I've started building Meng's Pick-up for this project..

Fantastic scratchbuilding and very resourceful use of a scissor jack!

Really like what you've done with the truck Kamil. The use of the rocket launcher definitely adds some firepower to the ordinary pickup! Yes

Some of the best weathering i've seen on a civilian vehicle ! Looks like something i'd find in my "red neck " neighborhood here ........well , except for the rocket launcher .

One thing i see a lot of here that is missing on your model is the "clear plastic wrap and duct tape " windows .

That is some rediculously good painting and weathering (not to mention scratchbuilding) there! Yes

With the right background, i'd have thought it was 1/1 scale.

Nice work!

It's always good to model what you see in the news, to find out more about what they are reporting.

A little bit more of that stuff and you will become known as "The Rocket Man" Big Smile

Good luck with your projects, have a nice day

Excellent work all around on this one Kamil. I have to say that the paint work on the rocket launcher and rounds is particularly eye-catching and provides a nice contrast to the beat-up pick-up truck. Yes

Kamil: Another winner there! I can only echo what's been already said on what a great job on rusting out the truck and the colourful rocket launcher. Plus the rounds and odd junk in the bed look very convincing.

BTW: Maybe it's just me but when I first saw this I was thinking rocket powered truck instead of rocket armed truck.... Hmm
