I've used DS tracks before and like them. It looks like this particular DS track set is bad for some reason. I've contacted Dragon. We'll see what happens. Panzer IV tracks are not supposed to sag a lot, so I would be happy with DS tracks.

DS tracks paint and weather well,I used them 5 times now,but they get brittle with enamel washes, not where they break, but they do stiffen,so take it easy with enamel washes

tigerman

I've only used the ones for the Ferdinand/Elefant. No problems at all. They were a lifesaver.

I've found that where 'live' tracks (see Sherman etc) are needed then DS tracks are great (I've got a set to use with the Dragon IC Hybrid Firefly in my stash) but when replicating some heavy saggy tracks like on a Tiger or you need to show some sag between return rollers they aren't much good unless it's something that you aren't bothered about.

My latest Dragon Tiger I came with DS Tracks but they would have needed to have been glued to sit correctly so Friuls it was.

My rules tend to be Friuls or Magics for saggy dead tracks. I'll only use DS for Live tracked vehicles. Even with the Tiger they just didn't have that heavy look.

Speak to Dragon care like you've been advised too - who knows, perhaps they'll send you Magics if they make the correct ones seeing as they advertised them on the box? That is poor in my opinion No

I'm not a big fan of DS tracks but I haven't heard issues with them being fragile, sounds like you might have a bad set. I'd contact DragonCare and see about getting a replacement.

Well, the DS tracks that came with the kit are very fragile. Some joints are on the verge of breaking apart :-(

Found the answer by reading reviews. The marketing stuff on the box is incorrect!

No Magic Tracks in Dragon Pz IV Zimmerit?

I just received a Dragon Panzer IV H w/ zimmerit.  It came with only DS tracks although the box shows "magic tracks on both sides."  Does anyone know if my kit is missing them?
