Universal Carrier MkII Tamiya kit in 1/35th
Posted by Delbert on Saturday, March 31, 2012 8:11 PM

Hello everyone.

I finished this one and thought I'd post it here for all to see.

This is Tamiya's Universal Carrier MkII Forced Recon version.

Base coat is Humbrol 159,  and weathered with  pollyscale dirt and brown pigments.  roadwheels are flat black and black pigments.

Uniforms are several shades of Model Master Field Drab and an oil wash in there somewhere.  I'm not very good with figures so I go for a fair impression instead of "life like".

The jerry can racks are scratch built and are my favorite part of the build.

Here are the photos.

Thanks for looking, and if anyone wants to check it out you can see the build blog for this build at the following link.

Nice job delbert. They build up quite nicely. I like the crew, it definitely adds some action. Well done on them.

The Tamiya kit holds up well and you've done a good job with it. Yes

Hello again

A couple of more photos here.  I took these outside in the sunlight so they are a little brighter and show th color contrasts and shades better
