does anyone know if anyone puts out a 1/72 scale locomotive that was used to push the german dora railroad gun.i just purchased the hobbyboss 1/72 dora and am looking for a locomotive
Before you try to find a train you should consider where the hell you'll put all this stuff. I have the Dora and it's 3 feet or so long and very tall (with the gun elevated). The kit is terrific and I think you'll thoroughly enjoy building it. I don't recall having any problems of any significance.
Good luck and enjoy.
i have a whole wall so space is not a problem....i originally wanted the 1/35 version but too expensive right now
im trying to make a diorama with it so i thought i would try to find the locomotives first
even finding decent 1/72 figures is difficult
I'm not aware of anyone making a 1/72 locomotive of any type unfortunately. You might look for something comparable in the scale railroading realm? I seem to recall that there's a scale that's close to 1/72 but not sure which it is.

Hobbyboss does a 1/72 version of the BR52 locomotive. Don't know how widely available it is--it's been out for a while. I believe there are (or were) also some Eduard photoetch sets for it as well.

I may be wrong, but i think HO scale is the same as 1/76th. Thats should be close enough, assuming you can fnd the right train.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
HO is 1/87, the scale difference will be very obvious.
Bronto HO is 1/87, the scale difference will be very obvious.
Thanks Bronto, i was wrong then.
