Avalibility of new kits
Posted by PaperPanzer on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 2:47 PM

Hello all...

I am looking for a couple of kits, first, anyone have an idea where/ when I can find Meng Models' A39 Tortise and Merkava Mk.III?

And what are the best kits of the 43M Zrinyi assault gun? Where can I find Hungarian tank crewmen?

Just noticed the Tortoise in my last issue of Finescale. That's the first and last I've heard of it.

Hi Paperpanzer!

There are quite a few fitting Hungarian tankers. All are in resin though and some are quite expensive.

Their uniforms differ alot, since the Hungarians used both blue panzer wraps, brown leather overalls and often wore additional wests, as can bee seen in these two color plates:

The Bodi has a total of six  resin figures These are of the highest quality:

Black army models got atleast one resin figure:

Resination has three resin figures. The quality of these is not that good, but they are cheaper, and can often be found on e-bay for a resonable price:

Hope that helps out and good luck with the Zrinyi!

Bronco has announced a Zrinyi.  It will be the first 1/35 inj plastic kit of this.  It should be good.  But nothing has yet appeared.

Lucky Model lists the Merkava as Available. That's where I got my Minenraumer because I just didn't feel like waiting until it hit the States.
