Lets kick this ideal around and see if you all want to go for a Patton tank build.
Any Patton tank, the M-48 to the M-60.With blasser armour or without.Any era that
the Patton was in including the M-47 that was at the end of the Korean conflict.
Lets end on May 15th of 2004.This way we can have enought time for all modification. So let here from all of you out there.DiggerSmile [:)]Cowboy [C):-)]Smile [:)]

Patton tanks started with the M46, the M47 never saw use during the Korean War.

Wasnt the m-60 used during the Vietnam war and still used by the Marines? Is that the one youre talking about?

The latest with reactive armor would be cool. Unfortuntely I can't commit. Good luck.

IIRC, the M48 was used in Vietnam. The M60's were deployed to Europe.

Digger - in order to make this a sticky you need to request it by e-mail to the administrators. Otherwise it'll just float down the list like any other post.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Thanks for the info Robert, still trying to learn all of this computer stuff.I have been stuckin the stone age, while my wife has been dragging me kicking and sreaming in the 21st century.
As for the M60,48,47,46 they all were named Pattons.I learned this by visiting the Pattonmuseum at Charico summit in California.Funny thing is that I have had penity of time to visit in the past but didn't untill my wife wanted to go.It was nice,a lot of stuff there thatyou all would like to see.
They had a old Sherman along with;M26,M41,M46,47,48 and60tys.

If my son and I can finish the Sherman group build with something worth looking at we will go for the Patton build too.
